Frequently Asked Questions
We answer your questions about investing in land in Chilean Patagonia, financing, the purchasing process, construction, and more.
What is the purchasing process like?
We take care of everything. After reserving your land, we meet to sign at the notary, and finally, we meet at the office to hand over all the documents.
What documents do I need to purchase?
Purchasing your land is very simple. You only need your ID card or passport if you are a foreigner.
What does it mean for my land to have a Unique Roll Number?
A Unique Roll Number means that you are the sole owner of the land, allowing you to use it as you see fit without needing permission from a third party.
What is an easement right?
An easement right is the right of a landowner to cross or access someone else’s property to reach their own land, established through a mutual agreement between the parties involved.
Are there any associated costs with purchasing my land?
The associated costs are:
- Payment for the purchase deed at the notary
- Payment for registration at the property registrar
Are the lands fenced?
No. Currently, the perimeter of the lands is marked by stakes and georeferencing.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer direct, interest-free financing on all our projects.
Are there any maintenance costs for my land?
The only cost is the property tax, which is approximately $80,000 per year.
I want to build on my land. How do I do that?
We currently have a strategic partnership with Patagonia Architecture to streamline the entire construction process for you.
Can I build if my land is on a slope?
Of course! Building on a sloped land has many benefits, such as maximizing panoramic views, greater privacy by reducing visibility from other plots, better rainwater drainage, and more.
